Supporting program:
Boat: Weigh anchor and lines off. Panorama Tour on Zeller Lake. Such a boat journey opens completely new perspectives. Experience Zell am See and enjoy the view of the snow-covered High Tauern.
Mountains: A great experience! The Großglockner (3798 m) is Austria’s highest peak and is located in Europe’s biggest alpine national park. It rules over Austria’s vast mountains, the High Tauern; it towers above the longest and most regular glacier of the Easter Alps, the Pasterze. The Großglockner Alpine Street, probable Europe’s most famous panorama street, made this mountain landscape accessible to a wider audience.
Water: The fascinating water experience directly at the entrance to the Krimmler Waterfalls – this outstanding spectacle of nature in the Alps and a nature jewel in the National Park High Tauern opens the gates to a water theme park in Pinzgau. Water in every form, astonishment, uniqueness. Never seen before.
Depth: There are signs of a most likely prehistoric mine in the Schwarzleo Valley. Plenty of ores and minerals come to light here as nowhere else in Salzburger Land. Following the steps of the ancient miners, you visit the hand-made tunnels and learn about the historic mining methods.
Nature: The three elements - Seisenbergklamm, Vorderkaserklamm and Lamprechtshöhle cave. The Lamprechtshöle cave, with a width of approx. 35 km, is one of Europe’s biggest cave systems and world’s largest cave open for viewing. You hike on comfortable paths approx. 600 m into the mountain and conquer an altitude difference of 65 m. Cave tours in the Forscherteil.
